Communicable Diseases Expert Vacancies Requirements:-

At least 5 years professional experience (following the award of the diploma), of which
at least 3 years’ experience acquired in positions relevant to the job description;
• University or post graduate degree within the field of medicine, biomedical sciences,
public health, epidemiology or other field relevant to the position, alternatively, a postraduate diploma from a Field Epidemiology Training Programme (EPIET or equivalent
national programme);
• Proven work experience (preferably including in national and/or international
coordination roles) in the area of communicable disease prevention and control at
national and/or international level, and/ or proven work experience in emergency
preparedness, threat detection and/or outbreak investigation;
• Proven experience and skills in epidemiological data analysis using statistical software
(preferably R) as well as interpretation of other scientific information;
• Proven experience in communicating scientific information to public health professionals
as well as to a wider audience, especially through oral presentations and by publishing
scientific articles;
• Excellent level of English, both written and spoken.
